SVIET was established in year 2004 through the determination and foresight of Community, business and industry leaders who inspired by the teaching of Swami  Vivekanand Ji and felt the need to develop intellectually and creative Resources for  India’s rapidly expanding  economy. The legacy of Late Shri Ragunath Rai was carried on and SVGOI was set up under the aegis of Shri Ragunath Rai Memorial Education and Charitable Trust, Mohali, Punjab.
